Welcome to my HotGlue site!

(I am writing how I started on HotGlue here mostly because The text above was all that I could think of to write about my first HotGlue site)

I first started on HotGlue by adding a background image (the tiled peony watercolour) and put boxes over the background to "calm it down".
I then created a cornflower blue banner entitled with my name, put a date in the corner to show when I started creating it and added a button to a website I created three years ago.

I found this exercise fairly easy, but found the lack of an eyedropper tool annoying and also the fact that when I clicked add/edit custom code it did not show the pre-existing code, generated by the site.

I liked the fact that the website could be made quickly, as it would have allowed more time to be spent on the design, but I did miss the openness of writing code.

I then created a videos page, which can be accessed by the designated button on the left panel.

On creating the "videos" page, I added a tiled background image of a lighthouse (which comes with the Windows 7 operating system) and searched for videos. I first uploaded a Hot Glue tutorial from Vimeo, as it could be used for future reference and then added a music video from YouTube.

The above sound file is the first Studio session, where we were introduced to HotGlue. I found the code to embed a sound file on W3Schools, copied the code, pasted it into the HTML
editor, changed the title of the sound file (horse.mp3) to the object
name and saved it. The screenshot to the right shows the code that
was used and the mp3 file next to it is the sound file that was used.
